Meet Milly

Milly is a sweet, curious girl who doesn’t seem to meet a stranger! She loves being near her people and is always up for snuggles, pets, and belly rubs. She’ll happily curl up close for a nap, but she’s also content just knowing you’re nearby. She is incredibly curious about the world around her. She loves watching birds, investigating bugs, sticks, leaves, and flowers, and recently discovered a frog that completely fascinated her. She wants to know what everything is and what’s going on around her. Milly is doing great sleeping in her crate at night and is doing well with potty training. She loves riding in the car and settles nicely into her car seat. She’s also working on leash walking and making great progress. She’s still a puppy, so there’s plenty of nibbling and chewing, but she’s smart and responds well to redirection. She has a playful, silly side too. She recently discovered her own tail and will chase it around until she ends up doing little roly-polys! Milly is an affectionate, happy, inquisitive pup who is ready to find a family to love and explore the world with. Applications can be filled out at www.piedmontanimalrescue.com/adopt! Petfinder and Adopt-A-Pet does NOT send us Applications. We receive many applications and many never respond after processing GREATLY delaying the pets forever home. Please only apply if you are serious about adopting. Please also make sure your pets are up to date on you species applicable Vaccines (rabies, Distemper/Parvo, FVRCP, Bordetella), spayed/neutered, and on Heartworm prevention if a canine. The adoption fee includes their age appropriate vaccinations(DA2PP and Bordetella), Dewormer, spay/neuter, microchip, heartworm test as well as the registration of their microchip information to you. The first step to adopting is to fill out an application for adoption. Once approved we will arrange a time for you to meet the animal you are interested in. If it is a match the adoption can then be completed and you can take home your new furry family member. If it is not a match we will file your approved application and you can wait till you find the perfect match.
