Meet Minka

Minka is an incredibly sweet, loving girl with the gentlest soul. She has a calm, easygoing personality and truly enjoys the simple things in life—lounging comfortably, soaking up affection, and staying close to her people. She does well around other animals and may even be a wonderful fit for a home with kids. Minka’s story is nothing short of inspiring. She spent months on her own, running loose while carrying a large tumor that weighed nearly 8 pounds—all while caring for her two puppies. Thankfully, her babies are now safe with another rescue, and Minka has had her tumor removed, which we are so grateful to share was not cancerous. Despite everything she’s been through, Minka has remained full of love, resilience, and kindness. She keeps her space very clean and would be a perfect match for someone looking for a low-maintenance, laid-back companion. Minka isn’t asking for much—just a cozy place to rest and someone to love her. And in return, she’ll give you her whole heart
