Age: 3 years old Date of Birth: November 7 Breed: Papillon mix Size: Small/Med; approximately 10 pounds Vaccinations: Current on all vaccinations Energy Level Mitch has a mellow personality and enjoys a calm environment. He is alert and will bark when someone comes to the door or when he hears unfamiliar sounds. When meeting new people, he may be cautious at first and benefits from slow introductions. Once he feels comfortable, his sweet and playful personality shines through. Socialization Mitch does well with other dogs after a proper introduction, especially if the other dog is calm and non- aggressive. He has not been around cats, so his compatibility with cats is unknown. He has spent time with families who have older children and has done very well, enjoying the attention they provide. Because quick movements can startle him, Mitch would likely do best in a home with teens or adults. House Training Mitch currently uses a pee pad indoors and also enjoys walks outside. With consistency, structure, and regular walks, he may be able to transition fully to outdoor potty habits. He is very reliable about using his designated pee pad area indoors. Personality Mitch is a loving, affectionate dog who forms strong bonds once he feels safe and secure. He has been with his family since puppyhood and was not a rescue dog. He can be a little anxious or fearful in new situations, but patience and reassurance help him settle in quickly. He loves playing ball and has some adorable habits, like sleeping with a blanket or cover over his head. Once comfortable, Mitch is friendly, playful, and enjoys being close to his people. He appears especially comfortable around women and has primarily been around adults. Diet Mitch eats small meals twice daily, as he has a sensitive stomach and does not tolerate large meals well. His diet includes cooked peas and carrots, chicken breast, and dry kibble. He also receives half of a probiotic to help with digestion.
