Meet Mocha

Meet our fun-loving and spirited black lab mix Mocha! Mocha is about 18 months old and is a medium-sized dog at 52 pounds. She was surrendered to a local shelter where Harley Koda Animal Rescue (HKAR) was able to take her in and offer her a chance to find a forever-home. She is currently being fostered in a home with a big fenced-in backyard and other dog companions. As a young dog, Mocha is a highly energetic and loves going on long walks, hikes, and playing fetch with her favorite ball and toys. She’s a well behaved, incredibly smart girl who is eager to learn and already knows several commands. Mocha gets along well with other dogs but needs to be paired with an equally energetic dog. She loves to play and zoom around the backyard with other dogs. After playtime, she’s just as happy curling up next to you on the sofa for some quiet cuddle time. She can be a little timid when meeting new people, but she warms up quickly and becomes a loving companion. Mocha is crate trained, housebroken, spayed, and up to date on all her vaccines. Mocha will do best homed with another energetic dog. She is good with older children who can keep her busy playing, She is vocal, especially when left alone. She requires a yard to run and frequent walks as well. She’s ready to bring lots of joy, love, and tail wags to her forever home!
