Molly is an adult Golden Retriever-Australian Shepherd mix who was adopted by her current owners a few years ago. Her current owners have sent us some additional narrative for this bio: “Molly has always been a sweet loyal and loving dog to our entire family said this decision is heartbreaking, but we are choosing this for Molly’s sake. Due to overseen changes in our family and home environment we’re not able to give the time, attention and affection Molly is used to” More About Molly:• Housetrained with no accidents in the home• Protective of her family but has never aggressive • A lover of daily walks, mealtime, and treats• Spayed and up to date on her medical needsMolly “talks” a lot which is just little expressive noises she makes. She has a basket full of toys and every night when To play with while being prepped for her evening walk. Molly can be a bit skittish during storms or high winds and gets excited ("wiggly and jumpy") on her leash when she sees other animals - but that seems to be her way of saying hello. Molly thrives on a consistent schedule and would love a home with land to run on and/or a large male companion dog to be a playmate and canine Companion. Our philosophy is to rescue highly adoptable dogs, have them live kennel-free in private homes for temperament assessments and individual personalities. We work hard to match EACH dog with the right family - kids or no kids, other dogs male or female and/or cats. With very rare exceptions all dogs over 6 months will be spayed or neutered PRIOR to adoption - dogs under 6 months will include a spay/neuter date AND referral info for lower-cost surgery if the adopter does not choose to use her or his personal vet. OUR VETS WILL NOT PERFORM SPAY NEUTER SURGERIES UNTIL DOG IS 6 MONTHS OLD.
