Meet Mr. Pete

🐾💛 Hello there! My name is Mr. Pete! 💛🐾 I'm a 1-year-old, 46-pound yellow and white Lab/Treeing Walker Coonhound mix, and I'm one happy, affectionate fella! I absolutely love people and am a total snuggle bug. If you're looking for a big-hearted boy who wants to be your best friend, I might just be your guy! 🥰 I'm a playful, energetic fellow who LOVES being outside. Give me a tennis ball and I'm ready to have some fun! 🎾 I love to run, play, and burn off my puppy energy, so I'd thrive in an active home where I can get plenty of exercise, adventures, and playtime. I'm also a pretty good gentleman when it comes to manners. I do well on a leash, load into the car fairly easily, and ride nicely once I'm buckled in. 🚗🐾 I've spent most of my life as an outdoor dog, so I'm still learning all about this indoor lifestyle. Let me tell you, though... AIR CONDITIONING IS AMAZING! 😂❄️ I'm discovering that comfy dog beds and cool floors are pretty wonderful, too. I'm fantastic with kiddos and absolutely love the elderly. I'm also great with other dogs and do a wonderful job adapting to different play styles and personalities. Whether my canine friend wants to romp around or just hang out, I'm pretty good at figuring out how to be a good buddy. I'm a sweet guy who really wants to make my people happy. I'm eager to please, which makes training much easier, and I'm always willing to accept a yummy treat or two as a little... encouragement. 😉🍪 There is one important thing you should know about me: I'm not a fan of cats, so I'd do best in a feline-free home. I'm an energetic boy with lots of love, personality, and adventure left in me. I just need a family who will give me plenty of exercise, help me continue learning about indoor life, and let me be the goofy, affectionate boy I am.
