Meet Murphy

Murphy is here! Through NO fault of his... he had to be returned. He isn't a fighter... and the resident dog was not happy to have Murphy in the house. Murphy was a shelter dog we promoted for a foster. And he landed a foster who picked him from the shelter. She wound up adopting him straight away. Calling him the "unicorn dog", he is so perfect. The dogs were great in his home... except the resident and established male labrador. So after about 6 weeks in a home, Murphy is in rescue now. That's not very long really, we have dogs in rescue for months. And all of this has been better than a shelter! We've welcomed Murphy with open arms. He is such a sweet boy. Friendly with everyone and putting up with the 'in your face' pack here! Already following me around. His security blanket at the time being. He's coming into the house to sleep. He deserves it. Murphy is a 1-2 year old, 45lb, border collie / cattle dog mix. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines. Murphy is in Templeton, CA.
