Neo may have had a difficult start in life, but he has not let his past hold him back! Neo came into rescue as a surrender underweight and unsure of the world. With lots of love and care he has since come a long way to regain his strength becoming a confident dog that loves to play. His sweet demeanor is sure to steal your heart! Neo is a one-year-old shepherd mix with a beautiful black coat. He weighs approximately 47 lbs. and is considered fully grown making him a great medium sized companion to join your pack. Neo has medium energy and is ready for any playdates! He loves to spend time with other dogs and does great with kids. While his interactions with cats is unknown, he displays a high prey drive so he would likely do best in a feline free home. Because Neo did not have the easiest start in life, he is still learning the basics. Crate and house training are in process. However, Neo is eager to learn and with some positive reinforcement and a patient trainer to guide him, Neo will be sure to make great progress. He has been doing his homework and has succeeded in his leash walking skills. Neo is looking for a home that provides him with a warm bed, plenty of cuddles, and all sorts of adventures from errands to hikes and everything in between.
