Nico is a 1 year old male Pit mix with a big smile, a playful spirit, and a joyful enthusiasm to make every single day a happy one. This handsome boy loves to run, stretch his legs, and show off his impressive zoomies in the park. Whether Nico is racing across the park with pure joy on his face or doing his adorable army crawl through the grass, he is guaranteed to entertain you! When Nico first comes out of his kennel, he is excited and ready to go, which can make him a little strong on the leash. But once he's had a chance to burn off some energy, he settles down and becomes a much more relaxed walking companion. For Nico, regular exercise is the key to bringing out his very best self. As much as he loves to play, Nico has an affectionate side that is equally endearing. After some zoomies, he will happily roll over for belly rubs and soak up all the love and attention you can give. Nico is the perfect combination of fun and sweet. He's looking for a family that will enjoy his active side, share adventures with him, and then spend time relaxing together afterward. The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
