Obie is a 6-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix with a gentle soul. He came to us with his best friend, Amelia, after their family had to surrender them due to personal circumstances. Obie can be a little timid when meeting new people or experiencing new situations, but with patience, kindness, and a little time, his sweet personality begins to shine. He finds comfort in familiar faces and especially in having Amelia by his side. Because Obie and Amelia share a close bond, we'd love to see them adopted together so they can continue to provide each other with comfort and companionship. If you have a quiet home and room in your heart for two deserving dogs, Obie and Amelia are ready to fill it with love. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
