Meet Oliver

Foster or Forever Home Wanted: Meet Oliver! Oliver is a smart, playful, affectionate young dog—likely around 2 years old—with a big personality and a whole lot of enthusiasm for life! After spending far too much time in boarding, Oliver can come out ready to GO, but give him some exercise, mental stimulation and direction, and you’ll quickly see what a wonderful dog he is. Oliver loves getting out and about. He rides great in the car and has done well at parks, Starbucks, pet-friendly stores and busy shopping areas. He’s curious about everything around him, but responds well to direction and genuinely seems to want to please. He’s a smart boy who already knows sit, down and shake and is very food motivated. He loves tennis balls and toys, happily entertains himself, and has been known to follow playtime with a pretty impressive case of the zoomies! Oliver tends to match the energy around him. He’s still learning how to regulate all that excitement, so when he gets overstimulated, his puppy manners can temporarily disappear. He’ll do best with a dog-savvy family who will give him consistent boundaries, continued training, exercise and plenty to keep that busy brain occupied. And once the fun is over? Oliver has a wonderfully sweet, cuddly side. He’s perfectly happy stretching out for a nap or curling up right next to his person. Oliver isn’t a finished dog—but he has all the makings of a phenomenal one.
