Meet Opal Your Shadow with Four Paws** Opal is an Anatolian Shepherd mix who weighs 28 pounds with an estimated DOB of 5/13/26. She is a confident, happy puppy with a heart full of love. While she enjoys playing with toys and romping around the yard with other dogs, her favorite place is right by your side. Like any young puppy, Opal is still working on house training. She tolerates her crate but would much rather curl up on a cozy dog bed when it's time to rest. A fenced yard isn't required, but it would be a dream come true for this growing girl to have a safe place to run and explore. Opal is a typical puppy with plenty of enthusiasm, so she's still learning not to jump or use her mouth during play. Because of that, we think she'd do best in a home without babies or toddlers. She hasn't been exposed to children in our care yet. Her foster family says that while she's a little less vocal than her sister, Pearl, she still has plenty of sass. They also share that Opal is the more affectionate of the two and is almost always by your side, getting excited whenever her people are nearby. If you're looking for a sweet, playful puppy who will happily be your loyal sidekick through every adventure, Opal is ready to meet you. Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
