Adoption Fee: $75.00 Meet Orchid! Looking for a happy, playful pup with a heart full of love (and kisses)? Orchid might just be your girl! Orchid is a one year old Pitt Mix pup who is as sweet as her name. She loves her people and will happily shower you with kisses any chance she gets. True to her puppy status, she’s full of fun energy and is always ready to play. She enjoys all toys and bones—but tug‑of‑war is her absolute favorite! Orchid is already off to a great start with her training: ✅ Potty trained ✅ Crate trained ✅ Knows sit and shake Actively working on down, wait, come, and leash manners She gets very excited when meeting new people and sometimes jumps for joy—something her future family can help her continue to work on as she grows. Because of her enthusiasm (and occasional puppy clumsiness), Orchid would do best in a home with children over 5, just so no one gets accidentally knocked over during playtime. She will also need a home with NO CATS please. On walks or in public settings, Orchid can get excited when she sees other dogs and may whine or bark because she’s eager to play. Her foster family is already working with her on this, and with a little continued training and guidance, she’s making great progress. Orchid would thrive with: A playful canine sibling or ‍♀️ An active family who can keep up with her puppy energy Orchid will be a fantastic companion in a home where she has room to play and be her joyful self. New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary. The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue.
