#A5428921 Meet Oreo, a big, handsome 5-year-old Lab mix boy with the most adorably oversized, giant-cupcake-sized paws! His sleek black coat makes him look like he’s been dusted in soot, complete with one perfectly placed patch of white right in the middle of his chest that is practically begging for pets. Oreo is looking for a patient, experienced, pet-savvy handler - ideally in an adults-only home - who will give him the guidance and thoughtful introductions he needs to be his best self. He’s curious about other dogs but can be reactive toward Shepherds, so he’d likely do best with a calm small-to-medium canine companion and slow, careful introductions. Around people, Oreo is calm and attentive, happily sitting close to his person, and he’s already easy on leash, potty trained, and knows basic commands like sit! ❤️With the right family to help him shine, this big lovable boy could be a wonderfully easy addition to a pet-savvy home - will that be with you? -5 year old black and white Lab mix -80 pound neutered male -may need the standard round of shots and preventatives before he can go home with you, but the shelter can likely help with this -came to Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on 8/8/26 as an owner surrender, but through no fault of his own - his old family sadly had landlord issues and could not keep Oreo -big boy, with big paws and plenty of energy - needs a patient and experienced family to help channel his energy and enthusiasm -generally good w/ other dogs, especially small to medium dogs with a similar energy level - just no shepherds please! -once he’s burned off some energy, he patiently sticks close to his person - perfect for cuddles!
