Meet Pancake
-This sweet girl walks very nicely on leash without pulling, although she does enjoy stopping to take in all the important smells along the way. She can be timid and unsure at times, especially in the yard, but she would occasionally come over, climb into my lap for a quick pet, and give me some kisses. Once we were inside, she relaxed more and seemed to really enjoy being close for attention.-She’s very treat motivated, sits nicely, and takes treats gently. Toys weren’t really her thing at first, but when I started play bowing and tapping the floor, she perked up and actually started to reciprocate and play a little! That little glimpse of playfulness was so sweet.-She’s still nervous and wasn’t completely relaxed during our time together, so she’ll need a patient adopter or foster who will give her the time and space to build confidence and come out of her shell at her own pace. I think there’s a sweet, playful girl in there just waiting to feel safe enough to show it.
