Meet Patton

-This low-riding little guy may not have the longest legs, but he certainly knows how to put them to work! ?? He pulls quite a bit on walks, and a harness will likely be the best setup for him while he works on his leash skills. He also seems to be a bit of a potty holder and went as soon as we made it outside. Like any dog adjusting to a new home and routine, he’ll need some time to settle in and get into a new rhythm.-Once we got to the yard, though, his priorities were very clear: he wanted to be on my lap or slumped at my feet getting pets and belly rubs. He absolutely LOVES belly rubs and will happily sprawl out for them. He also gives plenty of slobbery kisses, and with those extra jowls, there’s no shortage of drool!-He is very food motivated and knows “sit.” He takes treats gently, although he can get a little impatient if you make him wait too long and may try to jump up and grab one. He’s also on the skinny side, so he’ll probably be very happy to hear that snacks are part of his future!-Toys didn’t really interest him beyond a quick sniff, but that’s okay—he seems much more interested in people, cuddling, belly rubs, and being loved on.
