Meet Pearl

Welcome Pearl! This sweet girl came to DASH with several other dogs after being surrendered to a high kill shelter in KY. She is now in The DASH Prison Training Program where she is learning her manners and basic commands. She is young and had no training before coming to DASH, but she is a very smart girl and in a short time she has learned sit, down, wait and "leave it". In her current setting, s he appears to be housetrained, doesn't bark in her crate, walks on the leash with her handler. Pearl is truly a beautiful pup, with eyes so expressive they'll melt your heart. Her handler says that she is like the girl next door - will steal your heart (as well as your food!!!) She loves her snacks and will beg for people food! Pearl loves to play with the other dogs and run in the fenced yard. She may not be a good fit for older dogs, as she has a lot of energy. Her new family will need to be committed to continue to work with her on her training as she acclimates to her new environment. She seems to love everyone but has not been kid or cat tested, so proper introductions are required. This girl is ready for her forever home so she can continue to have the life she deserves.
