Meet Petey
Meet Petey!! He is around 1 years old, neutered, and was set to be euthanized in Bakersfield back in January before being rescued. Despite being abused and neglected the majority of his short first year of life, he is a sweet lovable guy who jumps up and down when he sees you walk through the door. He is not quite socialized yet so it would be best that he go to a home with no other pets until he gets the proper training. He does however know to “sit” and “give paw.” He is currently being leash trained as he is a little energetic on walks. He loves to play with his ball and loves to play catch with us. He loves meeting new people and jumps up and down when he does. He also loves to cuddle and loves to be around us (his foster) as much as possible and sleeps through the night. Also not food aggressive! Please consider adopting Petey, he is a sweet guy ❤️
