Meet Pichu

Pichu, I choose you! This adorable little Pokémon is still waiting for someone to choose him! At just 11 months old and 48 pounds, Pichu is sweet, playful, and affectionate with one especially powerful move: THE LEAN. Get close enough and he'll lean his whole body into you for pets. His affection is definitely super effective! Pichu recently got to spend some time in a home, and we learned even more about this sweet boy. He was a little unsure about getting into the car at first, but allowed himself to be lifted in and eventually settled down for the ride. Once at the house, he showed what a good little houseguest he can be. He didn't mark inside, did all of his potty business outdoors, and showed no resource guarding with food or toys. This smart little Pokémon is already learning! He listened to “no,” “leave it,” and “drop it.” At one point, Pichu grabbed a shoe in the backyard. When he was told, “Hey, bring that back to me!” he actually carried it straight back and happily gave it up. Good boy, Pichu! He's still very much a puppy and will benefit from a family committed to continuing his training. He can pull a bit on leash, but with practice, this smart boy should continue leveling up. After some playtime, Pichu showed his softer side. He settled down for a nap right next to his person, became a little shadow, and proved himself to be an incredibly sweet snuggle bug. For a puppy, he can actually be a pretty chill, mellow little guy once he settles in. Pichu is playful, loving, smart, and still learning about the world. He just needs a trainer, I mean, family, to help him reach his final evolution. Will you choose Pichu?
