Meet Pickles - Located in Colorado

PICKLESHappy Friday from #MADlovePickles located in ColoradoPickles is at a place where we feel good about looking for his furever home! We have a good idea on what that may look like. Pickles thrives with another dog to play with, he loves wrestling, so a friendly dog who likes the same would be best. He gets along great with both males and females. Pickles can live with kitties. His foster kitty siblings are dog savvy and will correct him if he gets too excited. He understands this, listens and improves. With continued work, he will be able to live with cats! He is an active guy, medium drive with an off switch. He enjoys being included and is curious. He continues to learn and train everydayHe knows sit, down, come, leave it, in and wait. He is doing great in a larger kennel but a smaller crate is still a bit scary. Long term he would really like to not have to be kenneled once trust is built. He is still working on potty training and should be master of that task in no time. Pickles is from Texas and whatever happened to him there, he is still working through. He asks for attention now and is no longer avoidant of people. Long term, he would really like a family who understands the journey and can commit to him. He is neutered, fully vaxxed and healthy, He eats well, has gained weight and has figured out that he doesn't need to protect his food. Pickles is now able to take turns and accept treats in a large pack of dogs and is confident he won't be overlooked! Pickles DNA came back and it says he is 100% Malinois. He may be mixed a bit with a boneless noodle, because he really enjoys stretching out as long as he can manage! He is a beautiful black sable and everyday his coat comes in more vivid and uniquePickles loves his people, he enjoys kids and is willing to try new things when he feels like his handler is supportive!
