Meet Pirate

Ahoy Mateys! I’m Pirate, and I’m searching for my FOREVER crew! I’m an adorably scruffy mixed fellow who loves to play with other dogs! I’m around 6 months old now and roughly 35 lbs of pure love, fun, and puppy kisses! Don’t worry, my eye patch isn’t real! I am crate trained and working hard on my potty training, doing great with it while on my foster family’s routine. I thrive on a routine! I’m still just a young pup learning the ropes, but I’m trying my very best to be the goodest boy! Now, here’s the part of my story that makes my little pirate heart sad… I was returned for being “awful,” as they put it. I call it pirate mutiny because what a conspira-sea!! But my foster mom says she has absolutely no idea why anyone would say I’m awful, because I’m sweet, loving, attentive, smart, and playful. Thank goodness for my rescuers who see me for the sweet, joyful boy I am! I may not have been the right treasure for someone else, but I just KNOW there’s a family out there who will see that I’m worth more than all the gold in a pirate’s treasure chest! I am a medium-high energy young man, and I would love my very own home with another pup sibling or more to sail the open seas through this thing called life together! I want a family who will play with me, teach me, love me, and understand that I’m still a puppy figuring out this big world. I don’t need a perfect ship or a chest full of gold. I just need someone who will love me, be patient with me, and promise that this time, my forever really means FOREVER. Could YOU be my captain?
