Ready to take the Polar Plunge?? Showing up at his finder’s house, this adorable houseguest was the perfect gentleman, while he stayed until they could bring him to us. Meet Polar! They let us know that he was friendly with both their dog AND cat and was amazing with all the people he encountered while there, but there was no information about children. The finder stated she had been told by other neighbors he was likely abandoned by his previous owner, but had no information to follow up with if he was. With no chip, no ID and no previous owner information, there was no way to contact an owner IF he had one, and no one came to claim him. So, now this adorable, handsome and friendly boy is here searching for his forever home and the family who will keep him and cherish him for the rest of his life. He is super easy to leash, walk and while can pull while walking, an active home and owner will help with that! Since he has been with us, he met a similar size spayed female and was so loose and playful with his new pal! He just stayed right with her, sniffing what she wanted to sniff, wagging tails the entire time! He is super sweet, and he LOVES food, which should make consistent training a breeze! Come and meet this sweetheart in person to see if he is the plunge your family needs into the forever end of the pool! We always recommend meet and greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit for all. All of our adoptable dogs/puppies are spayed/neutered, microchipped and UTD on all age-appropriate vaccines/preventatives. Adopters will need to establish vet care upon adopting to maintain their new family member’s health and wellness.
