Meet Porter! This handsome 3 month old Anatolian Shepherd mix weighs an impressive 40 pounds and is ready to find his forever home. Porter was found near I 30 and John King and was never reclaimed. Named in honor of Porter Wagoner, Dolly Parton's longtime musical partner who played an important role in the beginning of her career, we think this big country boy has a pretty fitting name! Porter is still very much a puppy and will need a family prepared for potty training, leash work, basic manners, socialization, structure, supervision, and all the normal puppy energy and mischief that come with his age. As a large breed puppy, he will also need continued training, enrichment, and regular veterinary care as he grows. Porter's adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccine and puppy boosters to date. An approved online adoption application is required for meet and greets and adoption.
