Meet Porter

Meet Porter! Porter is an approximately 6-year-old Chocolate Labrador Retriever mix with a heart as big as his smile. This handsome fellow is the complete package—sweet, gentle, compliant, and eager to please. His foster family describes him simply as "a very good boy." Porter has wonderful manners. He listens well, is house-trained, crate-trained, and gets along beautifully with both dogs and cats. He enjoys being with people and has an easygoing personality that makes him a joy to have around. Sadly, Porter's story began with heartbreak. He was found abandoned on a Pennsylvania Game Land, lying beneath a bush because he was simply too exhausted and hungry to continue. Thankfully, his difficult days are behind him, and he's now thriving in foster care while he waits for a family who will never let him down again. Porter is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and is receiving monthly flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. He is healthy, happy, and ready to start the next chapter
