Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Pound Cake and his brother Lemon Bar have enjoyed growing up together but now they're ready to split up and get their own human families! This cutie has all that great puppy energy and is eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is - shelter staff say he is already well mannered but learning is lifelong! And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, he wants to know he's safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he's storing up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Does he have a spot in your home and your heart? What My Foster Says About Me: He is such a fun, sweet boy! Making great progress with house training and getting there with crate training. Pound Cake does really well on leash, we think he would make a great running buddy! He enjoys playing with other dogs and meeting new people (he loves attention). He also redirects well when told "no", especially if you give him a bone or something to chew on. Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.
