At about 2 years old and a perfect 32 pounds, Pretzel is that just-right medium size: petite, skinny, dainty, and beautifully leggy. She’s listed as a Mountain Cur mix, but honestly, this adorable girl is simply 100% Pretzel. With her gentle eyes and what looks like the cutest built-in eyeliner, she has a quiet kind of beauty that makes you look twice. Pretzel is calm, soft, and so ladylike. She walks so quietly you can barely hear her coming, and she has the sweetest, gentlest presence. She is fully house-trained, non-destructive, quiet in the home, and walks nicely on leash. She is the kind of girl who brings a peaceful energy wherever she goes. While Pretzel is friendly with adults, dogs, and kids, she is a little reserved at first. She will politely approach new people for pets, but she is not the type to race up and demand attention. Sudden movements can make her nervous, so she would likely be most comfortable with older, respectful children who understand that gentle girls need a little space and patience. Once Pretzel knows she is safe, her heart starts to shine. She will quietly become your little shadow, following you from room to room, keeping you company, and melting your heart without ever needing to be the center of attention. She will also need to be spayed, which will be done at the Spay and Neuter Clinic of NJ so her adopter should live within driving distance of Holmdel, NJ. Her adoption donation is $5 00. Adopting an animal is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these animals have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
