Meet Prince (Chi)

And now another foster update! This little guy really is just the sweetest! He likes to follow me around when I'm doing house chores, so along with my personal chihuahua I now have two velcro dogs, but not to the extent that it is annoying in the least. Over a few years I have fostered 80+ dogs/puppies, and he is the BEST adult dog I have had!! If I didn't already have so many furbabies, he would be a great addition to my family. This fella doesn't do any damage when I leave him out of his crate while I am gone. He has not had any problems with my 4 personal dogs; I also have 3 cats, and the only trouble was instigated by my high-strung hybrid Savannah cat....she sent him crying when she scared him....poor little guy! When I have my feet up in the recliner, he loves to go back-and-forth so my feet are rubbing him. He got out into the garage and did not take off through the open overhead door, waiting patiently for me. I guess the only negative thing I can think of is that he is a bit sloppy when he eats, so dry food is spilled out around the dish....big deal, huh?? Update from Prince's former Foster home: Prince is a sweet 6 yr old chiweenie. He’s the perfect little companion dog. He’s still playful like a puppy and enjoys brief 15-20 min walks, but really he just wants to lay next to his person and snuggle! I truly love him, but I have a very active house hold and I think he would be so much happier to have someone who is more his speed. He’s crate trained, potty trained/managed, eats well, up to date on shots and medication, heartworm negative and neutered. He’s been microchipped, good with kids, and puts himself to bed at night when he’s ready to turn in . He does take a minute to warm up to other dogs in his space, but he does warm up. And he’s the funniest little sock bandit and tug of war champ. I just know there is someone out there that needs this guy. He has so much love to give.
