NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS - Meet Pumpkin! Pumpkin is a playful Black Mouth Cur/Australian Shepherd/Lab puppy mix with an adorable orange-brown coat and a black tail. This sweet boy is always ready for his next adventure—or a good snuggle! He was born on August 17, 2026Pumpkin loves playing with his seven siblings and his mom, and he’s also great with other dogs, kids, and his human caregivers. He’s an active, agile little guy who loves running, jumping, climbing stairs, and wrestling with his puppy friends. And when playtime is over, he’s more than happy to curl up for some cuddle time. He is still working on getting potty trained and, like all puppies, has lots to learn. But he is eager and has already come a long way! His new family should understand the work, patience, consistency, and training that goes into raising a puppy, as well as the importance of providing plenty of positive socialization with people, other dogs, and other animals as he grows. Pumpkin Boy is looking for a forever family ready to help him grow into the wonderful dog he’s meant to be. The puppy years can be a lot of work, but they’re also full of fun, love, and unforgettable moments—and Pumpkin Boy is ready to share them with his forever family! ❤️We are accepting applications now and he will be ready to go home to his adopter after the week of 10/18/26. Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. His adoption fee is $300. Adopters must agree to complete the remaining puppy vaccines on schedule with a veterinarian chosen by CAWS; CAWS will cover the cost. Pumpkin will be neutered when he is 6 months of age at an already CAWS-scheduled appointment. His adopter must agree to bring him to this appointment as a condition of adoption.
