Meet Puppy Sockie

Sockie — The Little Boy With the Socks You’ll Never Forget. Some puppies have a way of catching your eye for just a second. And then there is Sockie. You see those little white socks and suddenly you’re looking twice. Then you meet him, and you realize the socks are only the beginning of what makes this boy so special. Sockie is one of Biscuit’s very special 12 puppies. His momma was found as a stray, living in the woods and trying to survive by eating from neighborhood garbage cans. A kind family took her in during the middle of May, and they soon learned that she was carrying 12 precious puppies. On July 11th, Sockie and his siblings were born, and foster mom Celeste made an incredible commitment to this little family, taking a month off from work to stay home and care for Biscuit and all 12 of her babies. Sockie has grown into the little guy who seems to know exactly how to have a good time. He loves playing with his littermates and is a true social butterfly. He wants to be where the action is, whether that means joining in a puppy wrestling match, investigating something new or simply hanging out with the people around him. But Sockie knows how to slow down, too. Once the fun and exploring have worn him out, he is happy to relax and soak up some affection. He has a wonderfully affectionate personality and genuinely enjoys being part of the family. He has that special combination of playful puppy spirit and easygoing sweetness that makes you think he is going to grow into the kind of dog who will happily go wherever his people go. And then there are those socks. They are impossible to miss and even harder to forget. His unique markings give him a look that is completely his own, but it’s his personality that will ultimately steal your heart. Sockie is curious, fun-loving, affectionate and ready to turn just about anything into an adventure. He is also wonderfully social and has done well with other animals and children, making him an easy puppy to imagine fitting into all kinds of families and lifestyles. Whether your idea of the perfect day involves a backyard full of play, a family adventure, a walk around the neighborhood or simply relaxing at home with your dog beside you, Sockie is ready to be part of it. There are a lot of puppies in the world. But there is only one Sockie with those unforgettable little socks, that happy-go-lucky personality and a lifetime of love waiting to be given to someone. He is ready NOW. If Sockie has already caught your eye, don't stop there. Give him a chance to steal your heart, too.
