Meet Rafik

Est DOB: 1/4/24, male, neutered, UTD on vaccines, chipped, hw positive but being treated , approx. 41 lbs Rafik is a lovable, energetic pup ready to bring joy to your life. This happy boy was found in the middle of the road. Rafik is very playful, he can play all day long with foster’s dogs. Rafik loves to be by your side—he's the perfect Velcro dog! Rafik is eager to learn, gets excited to be on leash, and he would thrive with ongoing training and mental stimulation. While he can be a bit shy and uncertain around new people and dogs, given the time to adjust and realize he’s safe, Rafik quickly transforms into the best friend anyone could ask for. Rafik is in a foster home with other dogs that he does well with. Rafik is heartworm positive but please don't let that rule him out for you, he is currently on the slow approach to treatment which means he takes additional medication to his heartworm prevention every six months only (this can be provided by the rescue) Please consider making this gorgeous boy a member of your family. As we are a foster based rescue, we require a completed application to be submitted before we arrange a meet.
