Meet Ramsey

Background: Ramsey and his siblings entered rescue with their mom, Beans, after coming from an overcrowded desert property. Thanks to a caring owner who wanted the best for them, Ramsey has been loved and nurtured since birth and is now ready to find a family of his own. Personality: Ramsey is the gentle soul of the litter. This handsome long-haired boy enjoys playing just as much as his siblings, but he approaches life with an easygoing attitude. After a round of puppy play and a good meal, he's perfectly content finding a cozy spot for a nap. Sweet, calm, and affectionate, Ramsey loves to snuggle and brings a peaceful energy wherever he goes. Health: Ramsey is approximately 7 weeks old and weighs nearly 6 pounds. We expect him to mature on the smaller side of 30 pounds. He is healthy, growing beautifully, and will begin his puppy vaccinations on 9/16. Training: Ramsey is off to a great start but still has plenty of puppy lessons ahead of him. He's currently using potty pads and learning about the world around him through daily experiences in foster care. Puppies require a significant investment of time, energy, and patience, and Ramsey will need ongoing work with house training, socialization, and basic obedience. His sweet, easygoing nature should make training a rewarding experience for a dedicated adopter. Ideal Home: Ramsey would be a wonderful match for a family seeking a sweet, affectionate companion with a gentle nature. He'll enjoy playtime and adventures but will be equally happy relaxing and spending time with his favorite people. Like any puppy, he will do best with a family that understands the time, training, supervision, and socialization required during the first year of life. Adoption Requirements: We are currently accepting applications for foster-to-adopt! Terms of a foster-to-adopt agreement include taking them for their remaining shots and spay/neuter surgery at PAWS - The Modern Spay Neuter Clinic (Cave Creek & 101). • Week of 10/5: distemper/parvo booster • Week of 10/26: distemper/parvo booster, rabies, microchip, spay/neuter surgery These appointments are fully covered by the rescue. Ownership transfers to the adopter immediately following the final appointment. The adoption fee of $400 helps offset the cost of medical expenses.
