Meet Raquelle

Raquelle is known for her happy-go-lucky personality! She seems to have a perpetual grin! She was pulled from a high kill shelter, so you know someone recognized that she is a special girl. She is a confident mixed breed girl, though in a new environment, she tends to need a bit of time to get comfortable. At 1 year and 7 months, she is fully grown and weighs 31 pounds. She has a short brown and white coat that looks as if someone painted it! She is a delightful girl who enjoys the company of other dogs and children but has not had the opportunity to meet a cat. It is unknown if she would be welcoming of a feline companion. Raquelle is working on her house, crate and leash training. Using the right guidance with consistency and patience, will help her with the skills she needs to master. Cheerful praise and lots of treats will go a long way in mastering those daily routines. Daily walks will reinforce leash skills as well as socialization skills. It will be a new world to her with all the new sights, smells, sounds, and people along her walk. She may also enjoy going for hikes. Raquelle will benefit from mental stimulation in the form of activities and play toys. It will help prevent boredom.
