REMI NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Remi Best Guess for Breed: Lab and shepherd mix Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of August 2026 SEX: Female Approximate Weight: 24.5 lbs as of 7/27/26; is still growing! Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters! Currently Living at: DC area foster home Remi is Looking For: Her forever home! Remi and her brother Ranger have enjoyed growing up together but now they're ready to split up and get their own human families! This young girl is eagerly looking forward to having her own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so she can show how super smart she is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And she'll want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed. Most of all, though, she wants to know she's safe and loved. In exchange she promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags she's storing up, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Does Remi have a spot in your home and your heart? What My Foster Says About Me: Remi is a sweet and silly girl — she's adorably medium-sized and loves a good cuddle as well as a good romp. She's still learning about the city and all the noises that come with it, but some treats (especially hot dogs!) solve most problems. She's been great with everyone she's met, kids and adults, and loves to play with our resident dog. She's figuring out puzzles and sleeping through the night in a crate! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
