Meet Rhen

Hi! I’m Rhen, and I’m looking for my new best friend. Someone I can follow around the house, cuddle up next to on the bed or couch, and curl into a little donut with. These are some of my favorite things! I’m a 2-year-old Chiweenie who weighs around 12 pounds. I’m house trained, crate trained, and working on my leash skills. I will need a little time to warm up when we first meet. I can be a little unsure in new situations, but I’m learning that I can experience new things and still be safe with my person. Once I realize I’m safe, you’ll start to see the silly, sweet, affectionate little guy underneath that shy exterior. I love kids 7+ and would do well with a dog friend, too, as long as they give me a little time and space to adjust. Slow introductions and letting me go at my own pace will help me feel my best. I may not be the dog who runs up to greet you on day one, but give me a little time and a little patience, and I’ll show you just how much love I have to give.
