Meet Ricky

Ricky is a gentle and sweet boy who is still learning to trust new people. He may take a little time to warm up to you, but once he does, he’ll be your loyal companion for life. Ricky thrives in a calm and patient environment where he can feel safe and secure. He’s not the type to rush into new situations, but with some patience and love, he’ll show you just how affectionate and playful he can be. Ricky gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having a canine companion to play with. He would do well in a home with another dog or with a family who is experienced in working with shy, sensitive dogs. He does need a home with no children or cats at this time. Ricky is very playful and loves to play with toys and chew on bones. Ricky will require a secure fence above 4 feet. If you're looking for a sweet and gentle dog who just needs a little extra time to trust, Ricky could be the perfect fit for you. Ricky's adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, microchip, current vaccinations, and preventatives plus a free basic training course. Ricky is seeking an indoor only home and Last Hope requires that all adopters have a history of keeping their animals altered and current on vaccinations/prevention.
