Ready to add a little excitement to your life? Riley is a fun loving 1 year 3 month old large sized mixed breed with a handsome tan and white medium to long coat and enough enthusiasm to keep every day interesting. This energetic young guy is always ready for his next adventure and cannot wait to find a family that shares his zest for life. Riley is a very tall dog who is currently working on gaining some weight and filling out his large frame and will ideally be over 65 pounds once fully filled out. Riley has a high energy level and thrives when he has opportunities to run, play, and explore. One of his favorite things is water, and he absolutely loves splashing around whenever he gets the chance. In fact, Riley would likely excel at water sports and other active adventures. He has done well with other dogs and loves having canine friends, although his excitement can sometimes make him a tad annoying to more laid back dogs. Riley is also good with children of all ages once he has had time to adjust and is okay with cats. His playful personality and love for adventure make him a great companion for an active family. Riley is house trained, crate training is in progress, and is working on pulling on a leash. Although Riley is house trained, accidents can still occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Riley would do best in a home that can provide structure, consistency, and plenty of physical and mental exercise. Because of his size, energy level, and training needs, he would thrive with a family that is willing to enlist the help of an experienced trainer. He should be crated when left unattended as he continues working on his training and learning household routines.
