Meet River

Meet River River is an estimated 6-month-old sweetheart who is ready to find a family of her very own! Found with her sister in southern Person County, we don't know much about her past, but her future is looking bright. According to her foster family, River is incredibly smart and eager to learn. She already knows her name and comes when called. She's doing great with crate training and continues to make excellent progress with house training. River loves everyone she meets. She enjoys playing with other dogs, does wonderfully with kids, and is currently being fostered in a home with children. She's curious about the world around her and has shown polite interest in cats. When playtime is over, River's favorite place is curled up next to her people on the couch, soaking up cuddles and handing out plenty of sweet puppy kisses. She's also learning leash manners and is gaining confidence every day.
