Meet Rock

Meet Rock, a sweet and gentle boy who’s so ready for a second chance at life. Rock came to us from a partnered shelter where he was sadly at risk of euthanasia due to lack of space—but thankfully, he got the chance he deserved. Born around June 13, 2025, Rock is a terrier/dachshund mix with an adorable long body and a soft, submissive personality. He’s a friendly, easygoing pup who gets along with everyone he meets, making him a great fit for many types of homes. Rock would truly love a family of his own where he can feel safe and loved. He LOEVS his toy time with friends in the play yard. Rock did test positive for anaplasmosis (a tick-borne infection) and has finished undergoing treatment with doxycycline. This is a common and treatable condition, and he’s expected to do well with proper care. If transport is needed, an additional fee of $250 will apply. Please note that we are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations.
