Meet Rocko

This dog is available to meet by appointment only. Rocko is a 2-year-old Terrier mix, weighing 26 pounds. He is a fearful, sensitive dog who will need a very experienced and patient adopter willing to give him time and space to build confidence. He can be fearful of people, including familiar caregivers, and may avoid interaction when he feels uncertain. He has done well with the resident dogs in his foster home and would likely benefit from having confident, appropriate canine companions. He can also be sensitive to leash pressure and may try to back out of his harness. He will do best in a quiet, predictable home with an adopter who understands fearful dogs and is prepared to work with him at his own pace.
