Meet Roscoe (AL), a 7monthold (as of July 2026) mixedbreed puppy who has already lived through more than any baby should. Roscoe was found dumped on the side of the road with an injury to his front right leg. He received the medical care he needed — including amputation — and is now thriving as a proud little tripawd. He’s comfortable with stairs, loves running, has plenty of puppy zoomies, and is quickly mastering life on three legs with confidence and heart. Despite his rough start, Roscoe is one of the most precious little souls you’ll ever meet. If "puppy joy" had a face, it would be Roscoe. Roscoe is playful, smart, and absolutely hilarious. He'll proudly bark at you to let you know it's time to play. Translation: "Excuse me... I brought you a ball. Your schedule has been cleared." He loves wrestling with the big dogs, insists on joining whatever they're doing, and will happily follow you from room to room like your tiniest, most enthusiastic supervisor. Sweeping the floor? Fascinating. Making lunch? All in (espeically if he gets a snack too!) Roscoe is just happy to be part of the action. People often notice that he's a tripod and feel sorry for him. Then they watch him sprint up the stairs, wrestle with dogs twice his size, chase a ball at full speed, and suddenly it's... "Ma'am... he's completely fine." Roscoe doesn't see himself as different. He just sees another day full of adventures, toys, and people to love. He's proof that happiness isn't about having four legs—it's about living life with your whole heart. This sweet, squishy boy wants nothing more than to curl up in your lap and melt into you for cuddles, kisses, and affection. He has that rare, gentle energy that makes you instantly soften — the kind of puppy who feels like a gift the moment you meet him. Roscoe tests amazing with cats. other dogs and puppies. He’s curious, polite, gentle, and wonderfully wellmannered. Everything about him suggests he was loved and worked with before being found; he’s calm, easy, and so pleasant to be around. Truly, he might be one of the chillest puppies ever. He even takes treats softly from your hand, like a little gentleman. And he’s not just sweet — he’s smart. Roscoe already knows sit, is crate trained, and is housebroken. He’s eager to please, super affectionate, and friendly with absolutely everyone he meets. We don’t know how he ended up abandoned, but it’s clear he was socialized and cherished at some point. Now he needs someone who will give him the safety, care, and devotion he deserves.
