Meet Rowan

Background: Rowan and his siblings came to rescue with their mom, Beans, from an overcrowded off-grid home in the desert. Their owner loved them deeply and reached out for help so each puppy could have the opportunity to find a wonderful forever family. Rowan has been loved and handled since birth and is growing up as a happy, well-socialized puppy. Personality: Rowan is the biggest snuggler of the bunch! While he enjoys puppy wrestling matches, chasing games, and carrying around his favorite toys, his favorite place is curled up next to his people. He's confident, affectionate, and always ready for both playtime and cuddle time. As the largest puppy in the litter, Rowan was also the first to embrace his "big boy" food. Health: Rowan is approximately 7 weeks old and weighs about 6 pounds. Based on his current size, we expect him to mature to around 30 pounds. He will begin his puppy vaccination series on 9/16. Training: As a young puppy, Rowan is still learning all the basics of being a great canine companion. He's currently using potty pads and is beginning to explore the dog door in his foster home. Like all puppies, he'll need continued work on house training, leash skills, socialization, and basic manners. Rowan is a smart, confident boy who will thrive with a family committed to providing the structure, consistency, and patience every puppy needs to grow into a wonderful adult dog. Ideal Home: Rowan would thrive in a family looking for an affectionate companion who enjoys both adventures and downtime. He'd love a home that can provide plenty of play, socialization, and lots of snuggles. Like any puppy, he will do best with a family that understands the time, training, supervision, and socialization required during the first year of life. Adoption Requirements: We are currently accepting applications for foster-to-adopt! Terms of a foster-to-adopt agreement include taking them for their remaining shots and spay/neuter surgery at PAWS - The Modern Spay Neuter Clinic (Cave Creek & 101). • Week of 10/5: distemper/parvo booster • Week of 10/26: distemper/parvo booster, rabies, microchip, spay/neuter surgery These appointments are fully covered by the rescue. Ownership transfers to the adopter immediately following the final appointment. The adoption fee of $400 helps offset the cost of medical expenses.
