Meet Rowdy Athens

Rowdy is a 2-year-old mixed breed with a gentle soul who is ready for a fresh start. He and his brother, Wrecks (who is also available for adoption), sadly lost their home when their owner was deported. Suddenly, everything they had ever known was gone, and they found themselves scared and confused in a crowded Georgia shelter. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time and given a second chance. Rowdy is still a little shy at first, but every day he becomes more confident. It's been incredibly rewarding to watch him come out of his shell. Once he trusts you, his sweet personality shines through, and he genuinely enjoys being with the people he knows and loves. With patience, love, and encouragement, Rowdy is blossoming into an incredible dog and will make a devoted companion for the lucky family who gives him a chance. After everything he's endured, Rowdy deserves a forever home where he'll never have to experience that kind of uncertainty again. Rowdy is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on his vaccines. All he needs now is someone willing to believe in him and give him the loving home he's been waiting for.
