Coming to us as an owner surrender from less than desirable conditions, this undeniably adorable girl is ready to leave the past behind- and walk into the best days of her life… on a leash with her family, of course. Meet Ruby! Ruby is 4 years old and she is still learning to walk on a leash, and will let you pet on her until you can no longer feel your hand. Don’t ask us how we know this. She will even paw at you to remind you that your hand is still there and still capable of such pets! She met a similar size spayed female since being here and with encouragement from her humans, she was a little shy, but full of curious sniffs for her new friend. She lived with other dogs in her previous life and did great with them. Such a sweet soul ready for a fresh start! We always recommend meet and greets with and children prior to adoption to ensure a great fit for all, also! We don't know how she does with cats and have no way to test for that. If you can’t promise forever, please consider waiting to adopt when that promise is one you can fulfill!! Adopters will need to establish vet care upon adopting to maintain their new family member’s health and wellness. Please bring a collar and leash OR purchase a combo from us for only $15 to safely take your new family member home. We are located at 430 Bristol Drive in Statesville, NC.
