Meet Sallie

Sallie was a stray that showed up to the house of a Good Samaritan along with another dog. She is a sweet and gentle pup that loves a lap to cuddle on. Now that she's more settled in, the puppy in her is coming out and she just wants to play and play. She loves herding balls, fetch, and trying to catch the 'jet' stream of water from the hose. Although she can be a little intimidated by new dogs at first, she does great once she's had a chance to warm up and wants every dog to play with her. Sallie hasn't met a stranger yet. She is very open and friendly with new people. She does not hesitated to gently put her feet up on your legs and lean the top of her head against you for a hug. She LOVES attention and is very affectionate. When she's gotten her energy out, she wants to sit in your lap and be petted or get belly rubs while you watch TV You don't need to shower or bathe, she will give you kisses till you're clean. Being a puppy, Sallie is still in her chewing phase - she is redirectable with an appropriate chew toy (like a bully stick) but should be monitored until she grows out of the phase (like any dog of her age). Sallie's fun/weird/PSA quirk is that she will run and jump into the air expecting to be caught. Literally an airborne dog expecting to be caught. Does not matter if you're standing up or sitting down. Sallie is being fostered near Beaumont, TX
