Meet Sandy

Meet Sandy! This wonderful Shepherd mix girl is so gentle and kind. She has such a sweet temperament. She did not come from great beginnings and was quite shut down when she arrived with us but she is now blossoming! Sandy loves playing outside in the yard, going for walks, snoozing by your side, getting brushed and loved on. Her foster mom is working hard with her to teach her the things she was never exposed to. At only 11 months Sandy is smart and learning quickly. We would love to see Sandy with a family experienced with larger dogs and the room to have her run around. A secure fenced yard is a must. Sandy's training will need to be continued - just basic things that she is already getting the hang of. We have a trainer on our staff who can assist! She had surgery to correct her lower eyelashes from growing into her eyes and her eyes are now bright and sparkly (and more comfortable for her too). Sandy is the best and we all adore her.
