Meet Sandy

Currently located at our Evansville, IN location Meet Sandy! Some dogs just fit right into family life—and Sandy is one of them. This beautiful 1-year-old Shepherd mix weighs 57 pounds and has been thriving in her foster home, where she lives with four large breed dogs and a toddler. She's proven herself to be a gentle, easygoing companion who takes life's adventures in stride. Sandy is the total package. She's potty trained, happily relaxes in the house while her foster family is at work, and has wonderful house manners. She loves attention, never says no to a good belly rub, and is so sweet that she doesn't even mind sharing her food. Sandy does wonderfully with other dogs and children, but she is looking for a cat-free home. One thing to know about this athletic girl—she can clear a 4-foot fence! Because of that, she'll need a securely fenced yard or a family committed to keeping her safely on a leash during outdoor adventures. Sandy has everything it takes to be an incredible family dog.
