URGENT!! Needs 501c3 non-profit rescue by 9/23/26 @ 5pm!!***Schatzie is an 8 month old shepherd/pittie mix who’s been waiting since July for someone to recognize his worth. He is a friendly, playful pup. Recently, we discovered he has Von Willebrand’s Disease, a blood clotting disorder caused by a deficiency in the von Willebrand factor protein. It sounds intimidating, but many dogs with mild forms live normal or near normal lifespans when kept safe from major injuries and unmanaged surgeries. What it really means is that Schatzie needs a guardian who understands his vulnerability and can give him the thoughtful care he deserves. He’s looking for a rescue willing to protect him, guide him, and give him the secure, loving environment he craves.
