Meet Schnee

Schnee and his siblings found themselves unwanted and in a high kill shelter in West Texas. They are good with other dogs, and people, but cats are unknown. All dogs and puppies require supervision and training to be successful. He is a big fan of late-night “dog sleep” playlists on Spotify, loves plastic dog toys (the tougher, the better), and known for spontaneous backyard zoomies. After all that excitement? You’ll find him curled up in my office on their favorite blanket, snoring like they’ve had the busiest day ever. Living life somewhere between full-speed chaos and cozy nap mode. He would love a home with fenced yard to run and hang around with other dogs in. He is a big fan of dogs of all sizes, ages, breeds and follows their lead. His other preference would be a human who is frequently around. He does not like to kennel when alone, but he does well when with other dogs or a human are in the room or kenneled near him. He may still not like to be kenneled initally but once he is in a routine he does very well. He will require a heavy duty kennel for crating and at this time cannot be left out when no one is home. He is mindful of toddlers and young kids, a very gentle boy. For a young big boy he has good body size awareness, even when outdoors. He can be cautious at first meet but giving some treats and some patience he warms up quickly. You know you are in his trust circle when he boops your bottom. He has perfected the art of leaning his whole body into you for maximum petting and snuggling impact. He will melt into your lap and become your shadow very quickly. He walks decently on a leash but can use some fine tuning if you want that perfect heel. He travels nicely in the vehicle, if you have a van he will hop right in the back. This sweet boy has grown up in kennels/shelters and would really love to find a family of his own. His siblings have all found their forever families, it's Schnee's turn to find his.
