Meet Scooby

Scooby is a sweet boy who can be a little shy when meeting new people or finding himself in unfamiliar situations. He’ll need a patient, understanding home that can help him build confidence at his own pace and show him that new experiences can be positive. Once he feels comfortable, Scooby has plenty of love to give and enjoys the company of other dogs. He has done well with canine friends, although he has shown some resource guarding around high-value items when other dogs are nearby. Because of this, he’ll need thoughtful management around food, toys, and other prized possessions, as well as a home committed to helping him continue learning. Scooby would thrive with someone who will give him time, patience, consistency, and plenty of positive reinforcement.
