Meet Scooter – Small Dog, Big Fun Scooter is a 3-year-old Shih Tzu mix who weighs just 8 pounds, but this little guy has plenty of personality and energy to spare. He is house and crate trained and loves being part of whatever his people are doing. Scooter enjoys just about everything: playing with toys, chasing a ball, going for walks, cuddling with his people, and zooming around the house or yard. He has been wonderful with everyone he's met, including 4- and 6-year-old children. His foster family describes him as friendly, outgoing, adaptable, happy, and playful. While Scooter would likely do well in a variety of homes, a fenced yard would be especially exciting for this little guy. He'd love having a safe place to run, play, and burn off some of that extra energy. If you're looking for a fun-loving little companion who can keep up with playtime and then happily settle in for cuddles, Scooter may be your perfect match. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
